Good To Know

Just some info about how I do things, what I use and where to buy ;D

How do you make your videos?

I use a mini tripod to hold my phone (iPhone 5) in place when I record the video. When I’m done recording, I import the videos to my mac and edit them in iMovie. This includes trimming the video, speeding up, adding subtitles, adding music etc. For my youtube videos I make sure to use royalty free music so I don’t get copyright claims, but for Instagram I just use whatever I want :3

What brush are you using?

I have many different brushed that I use for different designs. I’ll try to remember to write on  all future posts which brushes I’m using. The ones I use the most are just some regular brushes from a craft store. Even though I buy the smallest sizes, I find that they are still too thick, so I simply trim them with a pair of scissors. You can see how I do it here.

I have three kolinsky sable-hair brushes from Winstonia Store in different sizes. (#0 , #00 and #0000) as well as this 15 pcs set.

What top coat do you use?

Either Essie “good to go” or Seche Vite “dry fast top coat”
